Services
We have an excellent team of skilled professionals who can provide the following support:
Personal care
Personal care means help with:
• getting up in the morning;
• washing;
• dressing;
• going to the toilet;
• making your bed;
• going to bed at night; and
• many other daily tasks you may need support to carry out.
Household services
Household services includes tasks such as such as:
• vacuuming;
• dusting;
• general cleaning;
• washing up; and
• doing your laundry.
We usually provide these services alongside personal and social care.
Specialist services
Our staff are trained to support specific needs. Specialist services can include helping you with:
• your medicine;
• your equipment needs; and
• many health-related issues (for example, help with using a catheter or coping with dementia).
We can also provide more intensive care and care aimed at dealing with people’s symptoms rather than curing them.
Preparing food
You can tell us what you want and we will prepare your breakfast, lunch, evening meal or supper for you at home. We can also help you with preparing shopping lists and doing your shopping for you.
Personal tasks
We can help with personal tasks such as buying birthday presents, and collecting your pension and prescriptions. If you ask, your personal carer can:
• sit with you and keep you company; and
• go with you on walks, to appointments and on trips out.
Rehabilitation
We can provide help and support when you come out of hospital or are recovering from an illness, even overnight.
Live-in care
Live-in care is when somebody lives with you in your home, provides personal care and carries out household tasks. You can stay in your home, with your home comforts, memories, pets and maybe family. It is a proven alternative to a residential home or sheltered accommodation.
